Filmmaking and Media Literacy Courses for Schools
For years, Take Two Film Academy has partnered with some of the top schools in the Tri-State area to deliver high quality instruction to K-12 students of diverse backgrounds. Our courses are designed to support existing curricula while supplementing students’ educational diet with valuable lessons on filmmaking and media literacy.
In these courses, students can work with professional filmmakers and media literacy experts to plan, execute, and edit their own film projects. Students can also learn to analyze and interpret various forms of media content, an essential skill for life in the 21st century.
Take Two Film Academy is a NYC Department of Education MTAC vendor. In addition, our work aligns with ISTE standards for Blending Learning, the Blueprint for the Moving Image, and Standards for the Arts. Download our one sheet here.
